The Pinkka small procurement portal is a new tool for North Karelian companies to keep an eye on small-scale procurements. Pinkka collects information on all ongoing small-scale procurement tendering processes in Eastern Finland and, if they so wish, the entrepreneurs can also set up a search alert on Pinkka. Business Joensuu offers Pinkka to all North Karelian companies completely free of charge.
Business Joensuu's Pinkka small procurement portal makes it easier to follow invitations to tender on small-scale procurement processes in Eastern Finland. In addition to North Karelia, the area of Eastern Finland includes South Karelia, South Savo, Kainuu and North Savo. After registering, the entrepreneur can read the notifications on small-scale procurements directly on Pinkka or create a free search alert.
- The alert sends the company notifications of invitations to tender in its sector by e-mail, so the entrepreneur does not need to spend time, effort or money on actively looking up ongoing tendering processes, says Pinja Konttinen from Business Joensuu, who assists entrepreneurs in public procurements.
- When information about invitations to tender in the company’s field is notified by e-mail, the entrepreneur may contact me with a low threshold if necessary. The advice I offer is publicly funded and free of charge for the customer, says Pinja Konttinen.
Approximately 200 tenders for small-scale procurements are carried out annually in North Karelia, as North Karelia's Procurement Services statistics for 2021 show. Previously, companies interested in small procurements had to search for small procurement tenders separately on the website of each party organising tenders. There are more than 70 public organisations in North Karelia. The majority of small-scale procurements are procurements of goods and services of less than EUR 60,000 put out to tender by the municipalities themselves.
- At Business Joensuu, we want to emphasise the commercial potential of public tendering and thus also increase the bidding activity of entrepreneurs. Notifying about public procurements is in the interests of both business life and public organisations, and beneficial for keeping tax money in the region, says Service Director Tuomo Roivas from Business Joensuu.
North Karelian companies can start using the Pinkka mini procurement portal, https://pinkka.businessjoensuu.fi, immediately. It can also be found in the menu tools of the Business Joensuu online service, businessjoensuu.fi.
The Pinkka small procurement portal is available only in Finnish.
