Do you want to help create outstanding customer experiences at Tiedepuisto?

We are looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to join the Tiedepuisto Facilities and Event Services team at Business Joensuu for a fixed-term period of one year. 

The position will start as agreed and will be filled as soon as a suitable candidate is found.

As a Customer Service Coordinator, you will play an important role in the daily operations of Tiedepuisto. You will ensure a seamless service experience for our meeting and event customers, from their first enquiry to the successful completion of their event.

This is a varied role combining customer service, sales, event coordination, practical arrangements and front desk responsibilities.

Your responsibilities

Your main duties include:

• Selling meeting and event facilities and advising customers

• Coordinating meeting and event arrangements

• Welcoming and assisting meeting and event customers

• Setting up meeting technology, providing user guidance and ensuring all equipment functions properly

• Preparing meeting, event and customer areas for daily use

• Managing front desk services, including welcoming visitors, key management and distribution, as well as supporting building security and access control.

What we are looking for

We hope you have:

• At least three years of experience in customer service, sales or event coordination

• A strong understanding of meeting and event services and customer service

• The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders

• Excellent Finnish and good English language skills

• Strong digital skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems

• A proactive, solution-oriented and responsible approach to work

• A positive attitude, excellent teamwork skills and a genuine desire to create successful customer experiences together.
