Minna Hendolin works at the intersection of science, innovation and scalable business growth.
With over 25 years of experience across academia, industry and public innovation funding, she has seen the full journey of innovation — from academic research to commercialisation and executive leadership in a listed multinational biopharmaceutical company, and further to national innovation leadership at Business Finland and Sitra.
Today, as Director of Impact at the University of Eastern Finland, Minna leads the university’s innovation and business collaboration services and builds strategic partnerships across companies, funding organisations and international ecosystems. Her mission is to turn top science into real-world impact.
At SOHJO 2026, Minna will challenge us to rethink the role of universities in competitiveness and ask: How do we create more bold ideas? How do we accelerate innovation? And how do we build ecosystems where science truly drives business success?
A self-described “chatty Carelian,” Minna combines strategic vision with hands-on experience — and a strong belief that impact is created together.
