SOHJO Official Side Events: Together towards more climate- and environmentally friendly ICT – insights, discussion and networking @ Kimmel

How can sustainability be integrated into IT solutions and procurement in a cost‑efficient way? What practical steps can organisations take today?

This free on‑site event gathers IT decision‑makers, buyers and suppliers from Eastern Finland to discuss sustainable ICT from both business and environmental perspectives. Through short expert inputs and open discussion, participants will share experiences and explore concrete ways to move towards more responsible IT.

The event concludes with networking over coffee and light refreshments. One SOHJO-ticket will be raffled among participants.

The event is organised by Green ICT VICTIS – Greener ICT from Eastern Finland project in collaboration with the University of Eastern Finland. The project is co‑funded by the European Union. The project is coordinated by TIEKE The Finnish Information Society Development Centre. Parallel projects are implemented in South Savo by LUT University and in North Savo by the University of Eastern Finland.
