At SOHJO 2026, the LuovAIn! non-stop workshop invites SOHJO 2026 participants to co-create a real-time, evolving visual artwork — powered by artificial intelligence.

This immersive installation transforms your gestures into art.

A brushstroke in the air or on a physical surface becomes the starting point. Your movement is interpreted by AI and instantly visualised on a large LED screen — the luminous heart of the installation. What appears on the screen then becomes the prompt for the next AI interpretation, creating a dynamic feedback loop between participants and the artwork itself.

Layer by layer, individual gestures merge into a shared, continuously evolving digital canvas — a collective mirror where personal expression dissolves into something bigger.

The workshop utilises technologies such as StreamDiffusion, Depth-Anything, projection mapping and camera-based motion recognition. The technical execution is delivered by Studio Käpynä Oy as part of the EU co-funded LuovAIn! – AI in the Creative and Cultural Ecosystem project.
